Our Story
Sunnyside Park Campground sits on a quiet stretch of land just outside Atlantic, Iowa — far enough from the main road to feel hidden, close enough that you never have to worry about running out of supplies.
We opened our gates to travelers who wanted something simpler: a patch of shade, a place to pitch a tent or pull in the RV, and the kind of stillness that lets you remember what a weekend was supposed to feel like.
Whether you're passing through on a cross-state drive or planning a full escape, we've built Sunnyside Park to be the kind of place you don't rush out of.
Accommodations
Every site is nestled among mature trees with natural privacy between spaces. Pick the setting that suits your style — from primitive tent spots to full-hookup pads for the RV crowd.
Unpaved sites shaded by oak and elm. Bring your own tent and gear — we provide the quiet and the stars. Shared water spigot nearby.
Gravel pads with 30/50-amp electrical, water, and sewer hookups. Wide access roads for long rigs. Wi-Fi available in the office area.
Covered pavilions and basic cabins for groups and families who want a roof without sacrificing the outdoors. Book ahead — they fill fast in summer.

Well-maintained restroom and shower facilities kept fresh daily throughout the season.
30- and 50-amp electrical service on select sites. Full hookups available for RV guests.
Your four-legged friends are welcome. Keep them leashed and clean up after them — we just ask.
